Vendor Love & Giveaway: Quite a Pair Keepsakes

I have a weakness for cute frames. Luckily, my party habit allows me to indulge this weakness. Frames can be terrific for displaying invitations, menus, party signage, subway art or photos of the guest of honor. (I’m sure you can think of even more uses!)

Until my Wizard of Oz party, I’ve been the queen of hunting down inexpensive frames and then altering them. But the girls’ birthday called for something larger scale, and something created by someone who actually knew what they were doing!

Enter my college friend, Juliet. (I almost said “old” college friend, but given the number attached to our upcoming reunion, I thought the better of it!) Juliet and her friend Shannon own Quite a Pair Keepsakes and make charming frames out of salvaged wood. Each frame is cut, sanded, painted, stained and distressed by hand. Because of the reclaimed materials, each piece is unique.

I love their creations and so Juliet made a custom frame for the girls’ seventh birthday celebration. I sent Juliet the link to this Somewhere Over the Rainbow print from SugarFresh and she designed the perfect frame. I think the red and light blue coordinate so well with the style of the print and the vintage, collected feel I was going for with the dessert table.

One of the cool parts of the Quite a Pair Keepsakes frames is that the photo or print you’re framing slides into an acrylic frame mounted on the wood. So if later you want to feature a new image, it’s easy to slide out the old one and replace it with a new one. The frames come with hangers attached to the back or they can be displayed on an easel.

Juliet and Shannon love custom orders. I can’t tell you how much care they took with my party frame — texting me different design and size options. I so appreciate how much they helped me think through what would be the best option for our party.

In fact, I couldn’t resist ordering one more frame: this medallion style for a favorite beach photo of the girls.

Double the Fun Parties was not compensated for this post, although I did receive the “old friend” discount on my frames. However, my opinions are strictly my own and I never introduce a product to you that I don’t honestly love.
